Laurie Thurber, OT

Laurie Thurber, O.T., C.H.T. graduated from the University of Florida in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Health Science in Occupational Therapy. She practiced mainly in South Florida, with an emphasis on orthopedic hand therapy before obtaining her certification in hand therapy in 2002.

She enjoys the many challenges of hand rehabilitation, especially fabricating custom splints. Laurie is married and the mother of two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to the theater and snorkeling.
